Brian and Niki met in the summer of 1999 on the campus of Hampton University during the Pre-College program. They were in Mrs. Calloway's math class during which Brian claims that Niki tried to cheat off of his paper. Brian offered to walk her back to the dorm, and thus began the tradition of walks from the Science & Technology building back to DuBois Hall. It was during these walks that the two secretly conspired to take one of the golf carts from the cemetery and go for a joy ride. This has been an inside joke between the two, and they have even talked about riding off into the sunset to live happily every after... in a golf cart. Brian and Niki had their first unofficial date at the Dairy Queen in Hampton, VA.  Nine years later they reconnected, dated for four years before becoming engaged.  They will now live happily ever after!
